Jd’s homework today was to write a list significant events in her life – last on the list was my cancer. Call me stupid, but I thought it hadn’t made so much of an impact on my life, let alone her.

Pressed further she said that she missed me being around in the morning (what with the tiredness (have I mentioned this before) and not being up early) and said that I wasn’t as jolly as before. Bit of a shocker really, but you know what they say – out of the mouths of babes …

Time to get a move on with getting better.
